SEO Audit Checklist.
This free SEO audit checklist walks you through thirty-one checks in the order an auditor would run them, using PageSpeed Insights, Search Console and your own browser. Tick each item as you go, assign an owner, and export the finished record. Progress saves in your browser and in the link.

Your ticks are saved in this browser and in the page address, so a copied link brings the same state back on another device. Nothing about your site is sent to us or to anyone else.

Want someone to fix what this found?
Finding a problem and fixing it are different jobs, and the second one is ours. Send the result over and you get back what it would take to put right — scoped and priced, from the person who would do the work, within one business day.
What this tool measures
Thirty-one checks, in the order a technical auditor would actually run them, every one doable with free tools you already have access to. No crawler subscription, no trial, no export limit. Tick as you go and the progress saves in your browser.
The order matters more than the list. Crawlability first, because a page search engines cannot reach cannot be helped by anything further down. Then structure, then the page itself, then speed, then the off-site signals you influence rather than control.
How to use it
Do it in one sitting if you can, on one site, with Search Console open in another tab. The whole list takes about two hours on a small site and most of a day on a large one.
Where a check links to a free tool, use that tool rather than a paid equivalent. The free ones are sufficient for every check on this list, and for the crawl and indexation questions Search Console is not merely sufficient, it is authoritative in a way third-party crawlers cannot be.
How to read the result
Not every unticked box is worth fixing. Weight them by section: anything unticked in the first group is urgent, because it is the difference between being in the index and not. Anything unticked in the last group is a programme of work rather than a task.
The middle sections are where most sites find their real problems, and the most common one by far is two or three pages competing for the same term. Fixing that usually means merging pages, which feels like losing content and is almost always a gain.
What to do next
Fix everything in the first section today. Take the rest and sort by effort against impact, then do the cheap high-impact ones this week. Titles, internal links and image sizes routinely land in that quadrant.
Re-run this list quarterly, and after every site change large enough to warrant a deploy announcement. Most catastrophic SEO problems are not gradual, they arrive in a single release.
Questions people ask
Is my checklist progress private?
Yes. Ticks are stored in your browser's local storage and never transmitted. Clearing browser data clears the list.
Do I need a paid crawler?
Not for this list. A paid crawler is worth it at scale, mostly for finding the same problems faster across thousands of URLs.
How long until fixes show up in rankings?
Indexation fixes can show within days. Content and structure changes usually take weeks, and links take longer than anyone selling them implies. Anyone promising a timeline for a competitive term is guessing.
