Google and Meta Ads Budget Planner.
Enter your goal, industry, target conversions and order value to get a starting monthly budget by platform, plus the blended cost per conversion measured against your gross margin. Advisory only, we do not manage paid ads.
Sets the recommended cost-per-conversion figures below to this market.
Pick your sector to start from the scope a brief like yours usually needs. Every input stays editable.
Leads, sales or bookings, whichever this campaign is actually driving.
Allocation is the share of your target conversions you expect from that platform. Cost per conversion is what you expect to pay for one.
LinkedIn, Snapchat, X — add a monthly budget directly.
Optional, and the most useful field here. Without it this tool can only tell you what the campaign costs, not whether it is worth running. Leave at zero to skip.
Recommended monthly ad spend
AED 3,771 / mo
In AED, paid directly to each platform. This is a starting point for testing, not a guaranteed outcome.
Advisory only, reviewed August 2026. GoDesign does not manage paid ads campaigns: this plans a starting budget, it does not run the campaign or hold the ad account.
Estimate done
Want the real number for your project?
An estimate works from typical scope. A quotation works from yours. Send this breakdown over and you get a fixed price back, from the person who would do the work, within one business day.
What this tool measures
This works backwards from the conversions you want rather than forwards from a budget you picked. That order matters: a number chosen because it sounded like a reasonable amount to spend has no relationship to what the platform will actually charge to deliver a result.
It is advisory only. GoDesign does not manage paid campaigns, which means this tool has no commercial reason to inflate a figure. It exists because "what should I spend" is a question people ask well before they find anyone to ask it to.
How to use it
Set your target conversions first, then check the cost per conversion against anything you already know. Your own historical figure always beats the default, and the defaults here are cross-sector starting points adjusted for the industry you pick.
Allocation is the share of those conversions you expect from each platform, not the share of budget. Search catches people already looking, so it converts better and costs more per click; social builds demand that does not exist yet.
Fill in average order value and margin if you possibly can. Without them, the tool can only tell you what a campaign costs. With them, it tells you whether it is worth running, which is a different and much more useful answer.
How to read the result
The monthly figure is media spend paid to the platforms, not an agency fee. Management, if you buy it, is separate and should always be quoted separately.
Blended cost per conversion against gross profit per conversion is the whole question. If the first is larger than the second, the campaign loses money on every conversion, and spending more makes the loss larger rather than smaller. The tool says so plainly when that is the case.
Expect the first six to eight weeks to cost more per conversion than these figures. Platforms need conversion data before they can optimise, and budgeting for a steady-state cost from day one is the most common way a campaign gets cancelled while it is still learning.
What to do next
Fix the tracking before spending anything. A campaign optimising against inaccurate conversion data will confidently spend your budget on the wrong thing, and it will do it faster than you can notice.
Then decide the smallest test that would give you an answer. Roughly thirty conversions is where the numbers start being real; below that you are reading noise and making decisions from it.
Questions people ask
Is there a minimum viable ad budget?
Practically, enough to buy around thirty conversions a month. Below that the data is too thin for either you or the platform to learn anything, and the money is spent on finding out nothing.
Search or social first?
Search if people are already looking for what you sell, because you are capturing demand rather than creating it. Social if they are not, or if what you sell is visual enough to create demand on sight.
Why does cost per conversion vary so much by industry?
Because the auction price is set by what a customer is worth to your competitors. A legal client and a gym membership are worth very different amounts, and the cost per click reflects that rather than anything about your campaign.
Do you manage ads?
No. This tool is advisory, which is precisely why it has no incentive to recommend a bigger number than the arithmetic supports.
