Graphic Design Package Estimator.
Most clients need both: build the identity once, then keep producing with it. Price them together, kept apart as a one-off and a monthly, with the first twelve months shown as the real commitment.
Sets the recommended prices below to this market's rates.
Both, usually. Build the identity once, then keep producing with it. They are separate commitments — one paid once, one paid every month — so they are priced separately and never added into a single misleading figure.
Two rounds included. Each extra round is priced separately below. Set this to a number you believe: unstated revisions are the most common way a fixed price stops being fixed.
First twelve months, all in
AED 1,250
In AED. The one-off and the monthly are kept apart below, because adding a build price to a subscription produces a number that means nothing.
An estimate, not a quote, reviewed August 2026. Stock assets, print costs and trademark filing are never included in a design fee unless stated in writing.
Estimate done
Want the real number for your project?
An estimate works from typical scope. A quotation works from yours. Send this breakdown over and you get a fixed price back, from the person who would do the work, within one business day.
What this tool measures
Design is bought in two shapes and quoted as though it were one. A branding project is a defined piece of work that ends with a set of files and rules. A design retainer is standing capacity to produce whatever next month needs. Confusing them is how a logo project ends up with an unbounded list of deliverables attached.
This prices both from what is actually being produced, and it makes revision rounds an explicit input, because unstated revisions are the most common way a fixed-price design job stops being fixed.
How to use it
Pick the engagement shape first. If you are asking for a logo, you are almost always also asking for the things that make a logo usable: colour, type, spacing rules and file formats for the places it will appear. Ticking those honestly is what makes the estimate match the eventual invoice.
Set revision rounds to a number you believe. Two is normal and workable. One is realistic only when a single person decides. Anything driven by a committee needs three, and pretending otherwise just moves the argument to later.
For a retainer, count deliverables per month rather than hours. Design hours are unverifiable from the outside; deliverables are countable, and a retainer priced in deliverables is one both sides can hold each other to.
How to read the result
The figure covers concept, production, the stated revisions and delivery of usable files. It excludes printing, licensing of fonts or stock imagery, and trademark work, all of which are third-party costs paid by you.
Ask what file formats are included and who owns the source. A brand handed over as flat images rather than editable source files is a brand you cannot use without going back to the designer, which is sometimes the intention.
If a quote is far below this range, it is usually one concept, one revision and no guidelines. That is a legitimate product at that price, and it is not the same product.
What to do next
Write down the three places the design will be used most: a shop sign, a phone screen, an invoice. Design decided for those three is design that works; design decided on a presentation slide often is not.
Then agree who gives feedback. Design projects overrun on the number of opinions rather than the number of rounds, and naming one decision-maker before starting saves more money than negotiating the rate.
Questions people ask
Why does a logo cost more than the marketplaces charge?
Because a marketplace sells a mark, and a brand project sells a mark plus the rules that keep it consistent and the files that make it usable everywhere. If the mark alone is genuinely all you need, the marketplace is the right purchase.
Do I need brand guidelines?
If more than one person will ever produce something with your brand on it, yes. Guidelines are what stop three versions of your identity existing by year two, and rebuilding consistency later costs more than documenting it now.
Retainer or per project?
Retainer once you need design more than about twice a month, mostly because the alternative is re-scoping and re-quoting every small request. Below that, per project is cheaper and simpler.
Who owns the design when it is done?
You should, in writing, including the source files. Get this stated in the quote rather than assumed, because the default in law varies by country and rarely favours the buyer.
