Keyword Combiner.

Service by modifier by location, which is how local service pages and ad groups get built. Exports as phrase or modified broad match, with a note on why most combinations should never become a page.

Finding a problem and fixing it are different jobs, and the second one is ours. Send the result over and you get back what it would take to put right — scoped and priced, from the person who would do the work, within one business day.

What this tool measures

Three lists in, every combination out, in whichever word order you choose.

What this is actually for is local service pages and ad groups: service by modifier by location. In the UAE that is the difference between one page about villa renovation and a set that each match how someone in a specific emirate types the query. Building that in a spreadsheet is where the duplicates and the missing rows come from.

It is a generator, not a research tool. It has no idea whether anything it produces has ever been searched for. That matters, and the section below says why.

How to use it

Put the head term in list one, the modifier in list two and the location in list three. Two lists work fine — leave the third empty and it drops out.

Change the word order to match how people type. “Web design Dubai” and “Dubai web design” are both real queries with different competition, and a keyword tool will price them differently.

The quote and plus-prefix options produce phrase match and modified broad match, so the output pastes straight into a Google Ads keyword planner or an ad group import.

How to read the result

A combination is a candidate, not a keyword. Most of what comes out of any combiner has zero search volume, and the ones that do have volume are not evenly distributed — a handful carry almost all of it.

Run the list through a volume tool before you do anything with it. Then keep the ones with demand and discard the rest, rather than treating the full grid as a content plan.

The failure mode this tool makes easy is a site with two hundred near-identical pages, each targeting a combination nobody searches, differing only in a place name. Google recognises that pattern and treats it as what it is. One good page for a real query beats twenty for imaginary ones, and it is less work.

What to do next

For the combinations that survive the volume check, decide whether each genuinely needs its own page. A location page earns its place when it has something location-specific to say — real projects, real addresses, a real service area. If the only difference is a swapped city name, it is a template and it will be treated as one.

For paid search, the same list is more directly useful. Ad groups tolerate near-duplicates in a way organic pages do not, because you are buying the impression rather than earning it.

Questions people ask

Does this tell me search volume?

No. It produces combinations, nothing more. Volume needs a data source — Google Keyword Planner, or a paid tool. Combining first and checking volume second is the right order, because it is much faster than the reverse.

How many pages should I build from this?

Far fewer than the tool produces. A useful discipline: if you cannot write two paragraphs about a combination that would not apply equally to a different one, it does not need its own page.

Will location pages get me into the local pack?

Not on their own. Map pack rankings are driven mostly by the Google Business Profile, proximity, and citation consistency. Location pages support that and do not substitute for it — a page for a city you have no presence in will not rank in that city's pack.

What is modified broad match for?

It forces every prefixed word to appear in the query while allowing order and additions to vary. Google has folded most of this behaviour into broad match, but the syntax still imports cleanly and remains a useful way to express intent when building a list.
